The Giacomo Sintini association donates new equipment to the Perugia hospital

The new instruments donated by the Giacomo Sintini Association to the Perugia Hospital were inaugurated on the morning of Monday 15 April.

“In October 2023, an appeal arrived from the Oncology department; as part of the project to reorganize the day hospital activity, ten computers were needed to allow the department staff to carry out outpatient activities more efficiently and quickly; together with the board we decided to accept this request” declared Jack Sintini, president of the association of the same name. Five of the ten computers were purchased with funds deriving from the provision of the 5×1000, the other 5 were “adopted” by the organization of the Burraco Tour.

In the months of January, February and March, 51 pairs of participants challenged each other with ladders and pinelle in the four stages of the tournament organized by Aps Tre Torri Castel del Piano, Pro-loco ca panne and Arc Bagnaia which culminated in the solidarity dinner on the proceeds of which were donated to the Giacomo Sintini Association.

“Once again teamwork was fundamental to achieving the objective we had set ourselves; our appeal generated a virtuous circle which involved organisers, sponsors and above all participants in the tournament and the solidarity dinner”. “I am really very grateful – the words of the president of the association Giacomo Sintini – also to the staff of the Oncology department who worked hard to identify instruments that were really useful and helped us to realize the donation in a very short time”.

The response from the Perugian hospital was also immediate with the thanks expressed by the General Director, Dr. Giuseppe De Filippis upon acceptance of the donation proposal. Present at the event were Dr. Mosconi, head FF and the staff of the Oncology department, Giacomo Sintini, and the organizers of the Burraco Tour.
