Tomorrow, Saturday 30 March, coach Barbolini’s team will therefore have the opportunity to win the round in the match scheduled for 3.30pm on the pitch of the Pala Megabox in Pesaro.
In the event of a victory, Savino Del Bene Volley will move to 2-0 and qualify for the semi-finals, while in the event of Vallefoglia winning and bringing the quarter-finals to 1-1, the series will be extended until the decisive match. 3.

In coach Barbolini’s team, however, there are no former Vallefoglia players.

“Compared to Game 1 we must certainly play better if we want to try to close the series in two games. As in many of these races, when the season gets longer and the difficulties increase, I think the number of errors becomes decisive. So we have to try to be careful: play better, improve a little in all the fundamentals, but above all try to limit errors when they can be gratuitous. We don’t have to give gifts, because they play well. We have seen how these Quarter Finals, apart from Conegliano, are hard for everyone and therefore they will be hard for us too.”
THE OPPONENTS
In its third consecutive year in Serie A1, Megabox Ondulati Del Savio Vallefoglia achieved its first qualification for the Scudetto Play Offs this season. The Marche team concluded the regular season in seventh place in the standings with 37 points, the result of 12 wins and 14 losses.
By virtue of the placement achieved at the end of the regular season, the Marche team has chosen Savino Del Bene Volley as rivals for the Quarter Final series of the Scudetto Play Offs.
The team trained by coach Andrea Pistola went down in Game 1 played on Wednesday 27 March at Palazzo Wanny. Vallefoglia, which on that occasion had to deal with important absences like those of Dijkema, Mingardi and Mancini, was beaten with the result of 3-1.
In this Saturday’s match, valid for a Race-2 which can already be decisive, the Corrugated Megaboxes of Savio Vallefoglia will take the field with the 6+1 composed of Dijkema at the dribble, Mingardi as opposite, Aleksic And Cecconello from power plants, with Degradations And Kosheleva in band e Panetoni as free.
