Arrivals at the airports of Alghero and Olbia.
During the Easter holidays (from 28 March to 2 April 2024) the airports of Northern Sardinia estimate a flow of approximately 62,000 passengers, for a total of 424 return flights, with a network of 50 connections, of which 23 domestic and 27 international to/from 14 countries. Compared to the Easter holidays of the previous year, period from 6 to 11 April 2023passenger growth of +12% is expected.
Specifically, around 27,000 passengers are expected at Alghero airport, for a total of 184 movements, an offer of over 35,000 seats and a network of 20 connections to/from 10 countries.
The Coral Riviera will offer connections with the peninsula, thanks to: Ryanair (Bergamo, Bologna, Milan Malpensa, Naples, Palermo, Pisa and Venice) and Aeroitalia (Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate). As far as abroad is concerned, Alghero will be connected from Ryanair with: Belgium (Brussels Charleroi), Denmark (Billund), England (London Stansted), Ireland (Cork and Dublin), Poland (Katowice), Slovakia (Bratislava), Spain (Barcelona and Madrid) and Hungary (Budapest), while the low cost Wizz Air will operate connections with Romania (Bucharest).
In the Olbia airport, traffic is estimated at approximately 35,000 passengersfor a total of 240 movements and a network of 30 connections, of which 14 domestic and 16 international, operated by 8 airlines to/from 7 countries.
The Costa Smeralda will be connected, thanks to Volotea (Bergamo, Bologna, Rome Fiumicino, Turin, Venice and Verona), Aeroitalia (Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate) and EasyJet (Bergamo, Milan Malpensa, Naples and Venice) while the new entry Ryanair on 2 April it will inaugurate connections to Bergamo and Bologna.
As regards foreign markets, Olbia will be connected with: France (Nice with easyJet and Paris Orly with easyJet and Transavia), Germany (Berlin with easyJet, Hamburg, Cologne, Dusseldorf and Stuttgart with Eurowings, Frankfurt and Munich with Lufthansa), England (London Gatwick and Luton with easyJet), Holland (Amsterdam operated by easyJet), Spain (Barcelona with Volotea) and Switzerland (Basel, Geneva with easyJet and Zurich with Edelweiss).
