The singer-songwriter returns to the famous off-schedule at Sanremo 2020
Four years have passed and yet the topic is still hot and the nerve is exposed. At the Sanremo Festival 2020, the unscheduled event with protagonist made history Morgan and Bugo, their fight on stage live and their mutual accusations. It is Morgan (who recently criticized Ultimo as well) who remembers the story from Nunzia De Girolamo in the third episode of “Hi Male”, which aired last night on Rai 1.
“The affair with Bugo in Sanremo? It was a real act of courage – declared Morgan – I found myself in a situation in which I had to emerge to say enough. Bugo begged me for ten years, just because he wanted to be taken to the Sanremo Festival and become famous. I was friends with him, so I took him there. Once we get on that stage, however, he made me rude. He ruined Sergio Endrigo’s song, he didn’t respect me because he didn’t care. She decided to sing the whole piece, when we had rehearsed differently. He had to sing one part of the song and I had to sing the other.”
And finally: “At that moment I said ‘my boy, do you really want to see how it’s done?’ so I made up a song in his face. Among other things it was fun and people really appreciated it because this is entertainment. And I know how to do a show.” Modesty aside, of course.
