The boys of Perseverant company Legnano achieved three podiums in the regional competitions held in Mortara on 23 and 24 March. The coach Riccardo Tosca was very satisfied as he led the boys into the competition in the silver LE levels with the senior2 gymnasts Amed Elbana, the junior2 Cristiano Donferri Mitelli, in the LD level with the pupil2 gymnast Sergio Ponzelletti and for the Gold competitions the very young pupil1 gymnast Riccardo Gariboldi . Furthermore, in a demonstration performance Perseverant brought the very young students Andrea Paolo Marinoni and Nicolò Marrone to perform.
Emad brought three apparatus to the competition and took second place on vault, third place on floor exercise and placed fifth on parallel bars. Cristiano managed to get the podium in third place in the floor exercise specialty, while he placed ninth in the parallel bars and tenth place in the vault. Sergio obtained the podium in second place in the general all-around ranking with exercises that obtained the first score in the rings, parallel bars and bars specialty, the second score in the vault specialty and the third score in the free body specialty. Riccardo who came close to the podium on his debut in the race and placed fourth in the all-around general classification. Nicolò and Andrea also achieved good results and will soon be able to make their debut in an official competition.
For the women’s sector, the first regional individual GAF advanced LD level test took place in Cassano D’Adda on March 23rd and Perseverant was present with the student gymnast Alexia Piatrapertosa trained by the technicians Rita Peri and Tesorio Mario. After an excellent performance on floor exercise, beam and vault she made a mistake on the parallel bars and placed seventh.
