The project selected and cited in the publication “The road, there is only the road you can count on“, winner of the regional notice “Innovative Social Anti-Mafia Construction Sites“, with the ATS formed by Altereco social cooperative of Cerignolaas lead body, the Medtraining social cooperative of Foggia and from CSV Foggiahas as its objective, since March 2021, the creation of anti-mafia courses dedicated to young people, through activities on confiscated land and with education initiatives on anti-mafia issues, in synergy with two high schools in Cerignola, the Scientific High School “Albert Einstein” and ITET “Dante Alighieri” – Cerignola.
“I will never forget the moments spent with the boys who participated in the project on the places that reek of the fight against the mafia, from the offices of Falcone and Borsellino, now a museum at the Palermo court to the places of the Capaci massacre. I saw in their eyes the desire to learn the values of sacrifice for justice and change“, recalls theWelfare councilor Maria Dibisceglia.
