BOLZANO. If it is not a record, it is certainly an absolutely unusual and rare case. The 46 year old AFR, originally from the Province of Naples, multiple offenders for crimes against property such as fraud, fraudulent insolvency and impersonation, it has been usual for over 1 year stay in luxury accommodation facilities of the capital of Bolzano and other municipalities in Alto Adige and then leaving without paying.
In order to gain the trust of the various hoteliers the man usually showed up at on board prestigious carsfalsely claiming to be manager of important companies in the fashion sector with managerial positions; therefore, after spending long periods in 5-star hotels, taking advantage of all the services connected to the stay, he would leave without paying the bill.
The last of these “free trips” took place two days ago, but the numerous episodes of this kind in which he was the protagonist, the man was systematically reported to the Judicial Authority by the territorial Police Force.
Given the undaunted succession of fraudulent conduct, the Police Commissioner of the Province of Bolzano issued a long sequence of compulsory expulsion orders against him, with the consequent ban on returning to 32 municipalities in Alto Adige, or where he pulled off the scams. These Road Sheets are added to others issued in recent years by the Quaestors of other Provinces with a tourist vocation.
Furthermore, considering how these habitual illicit behaviors highlight a clear attitude of contempt on the part of this individual towards the Laws of the State, as well as his undoubted inclination towards crime, and how the same individual constitutes a threat to security and tranquility public since such behaviors legitimately lead to the presumption that he derives his livelihood from criminal activities, the Police Commissioner has also issued against him the Personal Prevention Measure of the aggravated oral warning, provided for in these cases by the Code of Anti-Mafia Laws, which entails, a unlike the simple one, also the ban on possessing communication tools and other requirements.
