Safety at work is guaranteed first of all with correct management of employment contracts and contracts and subcontracts. To avoid injuries, accidents and real tragedies it is necessary to first know the regulatory obligations and have the skills necessary to apply and respect the rules. This is the starting point of the technical seminar which will be held on Tuesday 16 April starting from 2pm in the conference room of Cna Ferrara, organized by the “Health, comfort and safety group” of Ferrara (Inail, Inps, Itl, Ausl, University, Province and Municipality of Ferrara) and by Edilform Estense, the joint territorial body for training and safety at work, in which the trade unions (Feneal-Uil, Filca-Cisl, Fillea-Cgil) and business associations (Ance , Cna, Confartigianato, Confcooperative, Legacoop, Agci) of the category.

“Work contracts management of construction contracts”: this title of the seminar, which is completely free and open to all, and will allow some professional categories to obtain training credits, also in the field of workplace safety.

During the seminar, which is already recording a very strong participation, the main critical issues identified by the supervisory bodies in the context of construction contracts and subcontracting methods will be examined. It will be an opportunity to take stock of regulatory updates, to provide information on the obligations to be respected and on how to guarantee effective safety management on construction sites in the presence of contracts, subcontracts and work services. The role of bilateralism in guaranteeing training for workers and greater safety on construction sites will also be analysed.

The seminar will open with institutional greetings from the prefect of Ferrara Massimo Marchesiello and the president of the province Gianni Michele Padovani. Speakers for Edilform Estense will be the president Paolo Mazzini and the councilor Carlo Rivetti, Sabrina Cherubini of the Territorial Labor Inspectorate and Amelio Faccini, of the Prevention and safety in the workplace operational unit of the Ferrara Local Health Authority. The work is coordinated by Maddalena Coccagna, professor of the Department of Architecture of Unife representing the Health, Comfort and Safety Group of Ferrara.
