This year too, the unmissable event with ‘Maker Faire Rome – The European Edition’ is back (https://makerfairerome.eu/it). The event – promoted and organized by the Rome Chamber of Commerce – will be held from 25 to 27 October in the evocative spaces of the Gazometro Ostiense. The event, as always, will address all the key components of innovation: from digital manufacturing to the Internet of Things, from robotics to artificial intelligence, from agritech to digital manufacturing, through big data and aerospace, up to to the latest discoveries of the metaverse and augmented reality. The 2024 edition is the twelfth of an event that has grown and evolved over time, always remaining a point of reference for all those who want to change the world, for the better, with their creativity.

Years of innovations and ideas that have been transformed into concrete projects and inventions that have improved and revolutionized entire sectors of our society, making possible what, until a few years ago, seemed unattainable. For the many partners, Maker Faire Rome represents a unique and virtuous meeting platform with companies, startups, research institutions, schools, universities and innovators. The network created during the event connects companies with a large audience and offers the opportunity to accelerate the go-to-market of innovative products and services.

“Ours – explains Lorenzo Tagliavanti, president of the Rome Chamber of Commerce – is an inclusive fair, where technology is within everyone’s reach, not just professionals. This spirit has accompanied us since the first edition and we have kept it intact over the years. Maker Faire Rome involves everyone in a simple and direct way. This year we return to the Gazometro Ostiense and we are already ready to set up a new, unforgettable edition”. “We are already working – states Luciano Mocci, president of Innova Camera, a special company of the Rome Chamber of Commerce – on the 2024 edition which will focus, even more decisively, on the diffusion of the culture of Open Innovation, allowing the production system to draw on ideas , solutions, tools and technological skills that come from outside and from below, through a virtuous connection between innovators, creatives, startups, companies, students, universities and research institutes”.
