While Raffaele Lombardo goes to Schifani and Totò Cuffaro meets Renzi for the European elections, chaos reigns in Gela for the administrative elections.
The more time passes, the more the centre-right unity seems like a chimera. There is the Nisseno pact between FdI and FI which is valid during the day for FI while at night it holds meetings with the centrists for other candidates for mayor. There are Cuffarians who are pushing for a candidate other than the MPA but together with those who think like them they do not present the name of engineer Grazia Cosentino at the official tables..
There is the MPA who says and does not say that he does not want to support Greco and does not even present his candidate at the official tables.
There is the FdI councilor Totò Scerra who, if he is not nominated for mayor by his party, already has the civic suit made to present himself anyway. The prime minister Sammito will be with him if he is a candidate for mayor, otherwise he will run on the list of FI.
And then the Melonians: in Gela they keep the name of Vincenzo Casciana, in Rome they are reviewing everything.
Being able to put all these pieces together seems unlikely. And the outgoing mayor is gloating. He has the most interest of all in a non-united coalition.
