3 PM – The G7 hasn’t started yet and the young people protesting (Extinction Rebellion, No Tav from Val Susa, pro-Palestinians, members of Cambiare Rotta, Potere al Popolo and the Askatasuna social centre) have already served a nice aperitif to ministers and rulers: the assault on the IntesaSanPaolo skyscraper, the Tav construction site in San Didero and the Turin ring road where traffic was blocked and a cordon of young people marched towards Venaria. the police seem to have been caught off guard and new protests were announced on Monday and Tuesday.

4 PM – After the blockade of the ring road, carried out 3.5 kilometers from the Corso Regina Margherita exit (with smoke bombs, banners and slogans, and furious motorists) the demonstrators, around a thousand, headed towards Via Andrea Mensa, where they set on fire some hardbacks portraying Giorgia Meloni, Joe Biden and the other leaders of the G7 countries. All in a militarized Piazza Garibaldi, with the police department in riot gear and three vans with water cannons. The flag of the United States of America was also burned.

5 PM – While the march continues its protest, the Turin Police Headquarters has reported over 60 people for private violence after the occupation last night of the Intesa SanPaolo skyscraper in Corso England. These are the Extinction Rebellion activists, physically taken away by the police after the action.

6 PM – After almost four hours of marching, the procession broke up but the demonstrators agreed to “meet” for tomorrow, at 7pm, in Turin, in front of the University and Palazzo Nuovo. To continue the protest against the G7 underway at the Palace
