In the last midweek round, valid for the thirtieth day of the Serie B basketball championship, comes the second consecutive defeat for the Tecnoswitch Ruvo: but unlike last Sunday’s match, this time the blue and white have many regrets, having recovered from an eighteen point deficit and in the end, also due to some very questionable refereeing decisions, they concede 80-81 to the Blacks Faenzawhich thus conquers the PalaColombo.

In the first quarter, Tecnoswitch Ruvo did not start well and struggled to find the way to the basket, unlike Blacks Faenza who, with patience and tenacity, managed to find the first mini lead of the evening as the minutes passed, thus leading in the partial . Coach Giampaolo Ambrico he tries to shake up his team by also relying on the bench, but there is a small reaction from his team.

The blue and whites try to hold on to the match, preventing their opponents from running away, and reach the sound of the first siren ten points behind: Ruvo 11 – Faenza 21.

Even in the second period, the script of the match does not change: Blacks Faenza always lead in the partial, while Tecnoswitch Ruvo tries in every way to try to play their game, but partially succeeds. In the Faenza house, the center takes center stage Michael Poletti who, with his baskets, is the driving force behind his teammates. The change of coach has been useful to the Romagna team, given that they are playing an excellent match.

One would also expect a reaction from the Ruvo team, but unfortunately this is not the case. Towards the end of the second period the gap increases, and thus we arrive at the long break, with the blue and white team trailing by fifteen points: Ruvo 31 – Faenza 46.

In the second half, the blue and white are always forced to chase their opponents in the partial. But Tecnoswitch Ruvo seems much more aggressive than in the previous two quarters, and tries to put the opposing team in difficulty. On the other side, the Blacks Faenza are not intimidated, managing to manage the accumulated advantage, and thus we arrive at the sound of the siren in the 30th minute with the blue and whites down by ten points: Ruvo 53 – Faenza 63.

The last ten minutes begin: now Tecnoswitch Ruvo tries – now or never: by raising the pace of the game they seriously manage to send the Romagna team into a tailspin. Unfortunately another bad note arrives for the Ruvo team: the point guard is forced to abandon the match Andrea Traini due to injury (another defeat for the blue and white) considering the emergency. But his exit seems to bring the team back together even more: those on the parquet grit their teeth, managing to recover the enormous disadvantage and even finding the first advantages of the evening.

Now the PalaColombo is bedlam, the white and blues need the support of their fans. Tecnoswitch Ruvo doesn’t want to leave the two points and fights until the end, but unfortunately in the final seconds they are forced to surrender: the match is decided by 2/2 by free throws from Sebastian Vico, thus handing the victory to their team. Thus ends the match with the following final score: Ruvo 80 – Faenza 81.
