Having exhausted their internal commitments, Esperia closes the season in Como. The last dance of the season includes the all-yellow-blue match against Tecnoteam Albese Volley Como. Both teams, already excluded from the playoff placement, will play for honor and to guarantee themselves the best possible position at the end of the promotion pool, in view of the composition of the groups for the next championship. Cremona is two points behind Albese, so the Tigers will need a three-point victory to end the season in the best possible way. In the first leg, coach Chiappafreddo’s girls managed to get the better of their opponents, at the end of five emotionally charged sets.

The Como club is in its third year of militancy in the gialloblù. The Lariane met Esperia on the path to promotion to the second division, in the playoff phase of the year characterized by the pandemic. At the helm of the group, we find the confirmed coach Mauro Chiappafreddo assisted by David Cardinali. As director, Albese can count on Cecilia Nicolini, born in Codogno in 1994, formerly of Lodi, Offanengo and Futura, paired with Valentina Brandi, born in 2004 and already an opponent of Cremona with the Messina shirt. The opposite is the Slovenian Eva Zatkovic, 194 centimeters tall, born in 2001 and coming from experiences in the French Serie A with Calcit and Cannes. Among the spikers of the gang, here is Daniela Bulaich, ex Olbia and in the Argentine national team, Marika Longobardi, born in 1998 ex Modica and Mondovì, Carlotta Zanotto, returning to the Tecnoteam jersey with an important curriculum (scudetto with Imoco as a very young militancy in France in Évreux, among other experiences) and Giulia Patasce, last year working for 3M Pallavolo Perugia.
