TRIESTE. Around 9.00 pm yesterday, Saturday 27 April, the Fire Brigade of the Trieste Command were alerted to a fire inside an apartment on the second floor of a building in via Praga, at number 3.
Having arrived on site from the station with the first and second teams, the ladder truck and the provincial shift manager, the police, once they had made sure that there were still no people inside the apartment, immediately began operations to put out the fire. .
The strong presence of fumes also made it the evacuation of the entire condominium was necessary.
One person was entrusted to the care of 118 healthcare personnel due to smoke inhalation.
Once the fire was put out, the firefighters began operations to make the entire building safe, including through forced ventilation using motorized fans and checking for any residual presence of monoxide.
