Descriptive text here

The last seasonal match of the rossoblù takes place at the Iacovone within friendly walls and the opponent of the moment, Avellino, makes this event a luxury one. The rossoblù, after having communicated that they will appeal to the CONI Guarantee Board for the 4-point penalty, in these last two days will try to trip up fourth-placed Casertana, in order to be able to skip at least the first round of the group playoffs. The Campanians, for their part, are second and would like the mathematical certainty of being able to participate in the promotion appendix as early as the second national round and therefore return to the field on May 18th.

Taranto at home is the second strongest team in the championship (40 points against 42 for Juve Stabia), while Avellino away is the best team in the group (34 points away from Partenio-Lombardi); the race will therefore be between two forces that will want to assert their own law. The hosts are in good form and in the last 5 matches the rossoblù have collected 10 points out of the 15 available; the green and white wolves were better, with 12 points out of 15 (only one defeat, in Giugliano.

In the last match, played in March last year, the two teams were struggling with direct salvation: Iacovone’s draw ultimately satisfied both teams, who survived at the end of the championship. Among the former players of the day are Matera and Kanoute, who will certainly want to assert themselves against their former team.
