In second place was Ukraine, while the winner Nemo was “only” fourth
In the end it wasn’t anything new but the result made most people turn up their noses. In the televoting count for the Final of Eurovision Song Contest 2024 starting from Italy it emerged that the Israeli singer Eden Golan obtained the maximum score. A result that reflects the now famous spoiler of Rai, which then apologized to the organization “for the technical inconvenience”, during the second Eurovision Semi-final, on the partial results of the televoting. The Italian data saw Israel in first place with 39.31% of the votes, followed far behind by the Netherlands with 7.32%. Except that yesterday Ukraine was in second place, while Switzerland was “only” fourth. Among other things, not only Italy has rewarded the highly contested one Israel but also Spain, Portugal, Germany, Belgium and the United Kingdom have done so.
A result that is very far from the response of our country’s technical jury, which remained top secret until yesterday by regulation. The members chosen this year were: Big Mama appointed president of the jury, the dancer and presenter Marcello Sacchetta, the journalist of Tv Sorrisi e Canzoni Barbara Mosconi, the musician Maurizio Filardo and Elena Di Cioccio. The members of the jury awarded Nemo the maximum score, 12 points, then Ireland 10, Croatia 8, Spain 7, Sweden 6, Austria 5, Germany 4, Armenia 3, Estonia 2 and finally France 1.
