Barletta present at the Ca’Foscari Short Film Festival

The City of Barletta was present at the XIV Edition of the Ca’Foscari Short Film Festivalheld in Venice in recent days, thanks to the presence of Giuseppe Arcierifounder and artistic director, and of Michele Piazzollaco-organizer and project manager of the South Italy International Film Festival in Barletta.

The young people of Barletta had the privilege of watching a vast selection of short films from the international contemporary cinema scene.

The two artists received recognition for Barletta’s contribution to the Italian film sector when they were tasked with presenting the special mention for best interpretation to Jonathan Lade for the short film “Fragments of Us” during the awards ceremony.

This experience confirmed the potential of the Barletta youth movement in the field of visual arts and strengthened the Administration’s commitment to promoting culture and art in our community. On behalf of the city of Barletta, Arcieri and Piazzolla handed over the Municipality pennant to Paola Mar, Councilor for Heritage and Promotion of the City of Venice, as an ideal greeting from the Barletta Administration to the Venetian institution.
