The first tender, whose tender session was held on 22 March 2024, did not have any offers admitted as the offer received did not meet the participation requirements.

The Municipality of Rho, therefore, published on 27 March 2024 a new tender for the leasing of the municipally owned property intended for public use in Piazza San Vittore n. 22 and related appurtenances. The property, which is part of a residential condominium, is located in the city center, facing a public square. It is equipped with 3 windows, plus one on the side, and consists of 6 rooms, of approximately m2. 109, and 3 rooms in the basement of which 2 are intended for storage use and 1 for changing room use, respectively of approximately m2. 17 – 18m2 – 17m2.

The premises must be intended for carrying out the sole activity of serving food and drinks. The exercise of other commercial activities is not permitted, under penalty of forfeiture of the lease.

The Tenant will not be able to make any internal or external modifications as it is an asset of historical interest, subject to constraints from the Superintendency.

The annual starting rent has been reduced to 27 thousand euros + VAT, corresponding to 2,250 euros per month + VAT. It should be noted that for the first two years of the rental contract the annual fee applied will be equal to 70% of the amount offered in the tender, to allow the tenant to amortize the investments necessary to allow the start-up of the business. The condominium expenses will be borne by the Tenant: they include lighting, maintenance and cleaning of the common areas, septic tank cleaning and common lines, and are equal to approximately 2,000 euros per year. Compared to the first announcement, the part relating to the presentation of the positive balance sheets of recent years has been modified.

The successful bidder must also take out a bank guarantee, issued by a primary banking institution, for an amount equal to at least 6 months’ rent, or equal to the number of months offered during the tender. The lease will have a duration of 6 years starting from the signing of the contract, renewable only for a further 6 years. The criterion of required profitable balance sheets has also been updated.

Those who intend to participate in the tender are obliged to view the leased premises in the presence of a representative of the Municipality. The request for an inspection must be sent by 19/04/2024 via email to the email address [email protected]. Failure to carry out the inspection will cause exclusion from the procedure in question. Anyone who signed up for the first notice and is in possession of the receipt for the inspection will not have to repeat this step but attach the receipt to the new application.

Economic operators must send their offer by 12.00 on 29/04/2024 by hand delivery to the Quic – Citizen’s Desk, Via De Amicis 1 (Monday, Wednesday, Friday: from 8.30 to 13: 00, Tuesday and Thursday: from 8.30 to 13 and from 14 to 18.30, Saturday from 8.30 to 12.30), or by registered mail to the following address: Municipality of Rho – Office Heritage – Piazza Visconti, 23 – 20017 – Rho.
