Also in Trapani, as in many Italian cities, a demonstration will be held on Monday 29 April against the Calderoli bill on Differentiated Autonomy.The Meloni Government has decided to ignore all contrary opinions, doubts and problems raised by constitutionalists, economists, cultural personalities, trade unions, associations, the Bank of Italy, the Parliamentary Budget Office, the European Union, CEI, Confindustria, ANCI , GIMBO foundation, as well as by the tens of thousands of citizens who demonstrated throughout Italy against Differentiated Autonomy”, stated by the national Noad table formed by the Committee for the Defense of the Constitution-Trapani, the Anpi and the CGIL Trapani. “Even yesterday, with a force never seen before in Parliament, the President of the Constitutional Affairs Commission imposed a new vote on an amendment already approved on April 24, overturning the outcome”, they write in the official note.

On Monday at 6pm they will meet in Trapani in Piazzetta Saturno to say “no” to the Calderoli bill That “... it ruins the country, increases inequalities, differentiates rights based on residence, impoverishes the suburbs and the weakest people, puts regions in competition at the expense of the environment and rights“.
