PESARO – Sophia project, another 236 security cameras are added.

The Supplementary Act of the Pact for the implementation of Urban Security – Sophia Project was signed in the Prefecture of Pesaro Urbino, in the presence of the prefect Emanuela Saveria Greco and the Central-North Corporate Protection manager Italian post Lorenzo Mori.
This agreement is part of the large Sophia Project which, as is known, involves the Prefecture, the capital, the municipalities of the province, the Police Forces, the Local Police General Command and, from today, also the Italian Post Office in the municipality objective of prevent and combat widespread crime and predatory and strengthen urban security. The agreement allows for timely reconnaissance and geolocation of cameras on the territory and integrated data management, fundamental tools for investigative and prevention activities. They had already been 144 cameras mapped.

«The Sophia Project is becoming increasingly broader through the involvement of Poste Italiane which will bring its people into the platform 236 video surveillance systems installed in 48 locations of the province, strengthening the integrated security of the territory” – declared the prefect Emanuela Saveria Greco.
