This afternoon, April 28, an accident shook the quiet community of Monteroduni, when a car went up in flames, probably due to a mechanical failure. Fortunately, thanks to the rapid response of the Isernia Fire Brigade, the danger was contained and the driver escaped the event unharmed.
The incident took place in a residential area of the city, sparking concern among residents. However, the timely and professional intervention of the Fire Brigade prevented the flames from spreading to other cars or surrounding structures, thus limiting material damage.
According to initial investigations conducted on site, it appears that the fire was started by a mechanical failure inside the vehicle. Despite the sudden and violent fire, the driver managed to escape without suffering any injuries.
The mayor of Monteroduni expressed his gratitude to the Isernia Fire Brigade for their prompt response and for having managed the situation so effectively, avoiding potentially more serious consequences. At the same time, he stressed the importance of maintaining a vehicle in a safe condition and having it regularly checked to prevent similar accidents in the future.
