VARESE – The under 15 Excellence driven by Giovanni Todisco will participate in the Easter weekend at Ferrara Adamant Trophy. A nice experience while waiting to participate in the interzone.
The program
Varese Basketball will play the first match on Saturday 30th at 5pm against Petrarch Padua at Bondi Arena. Among the eight participating teams there will also be ABA, engaged at 9pm against Ferrara for Basketball. Sunday 31st, Easter day, the semi-finals and Monday 1st April the finals.
Robert Kangur in red and white jersey
As per the tournament regulations, the teams will be able to use non-registered players. Varese Basketball will field Roberto Kangur on loan. Estonian, born in 2009, Robert is the son of Kristjan Kangur, captain of Varese Basketball in the 2014-2015 season (the year of Pozzecco-Caja) and had started playing minibasketball in the red and white jersey. Today Robert Kangur has become a very promising point guard and Varese has already been his home. A clue for the future? Will we see another Kangur in a red and white jersey?
