FRANCAVILLA FONTANA – The municipal administration of Francavilla Fontana and Confesercenti of the province of Brindisi held a fruitful meeting in recent days to discuss strategies and initiatives aimed at promoting the economic and tourism development of the area.
The meeting, chaired by the engineer Carmine Sportillo, councilor with responsibility for Productive Activities, precarious employment, night-time policies, Tourism and Territorial Marketing, implementation of the Pnrr and digital innovation, and by Dr. Eleonora Marinelli, councilor with responsibility for Budget, Taxes and Patrimonio, saw the participation of representatives of Confesercenti.
During the meeting, the Confesercenti management group presented a series of initiatives aimed at enhancing the commercial fabric of the Francaville area. Among these, the presentation of the “Historical Shops” announcement and the promotion of the Regional Law which recognizes the shops, artisan shops and historical places of administration of Puglia, through the dedicated desk within the association, which is always active, stand out.
The next “Food Art” Cooking Course, promoted and organized by Confesercenti, was also presented. This course will be aimed at all operators in the public sector and aims to qualify and update existing professionalism, enhancing their characteristics and peculiarities, with a view to promoting the economic and tourism development of the area.
The meeting represented a moment of sharing and collaboration between the municipal administration of Francavilla Fontana and Confesercenti, with the common objective of stimulating the growth and well-being of the local community through concrete initiatives and effective synergies.
Among those present at the meeting, the provincial president of Confesercenti, Michele Piccirillo, the director Antonio D’Amore, the city delegate of Confesercenti Francavilla Fontana, Cosimo Vacca, together with the professionals Mauro Martina and Pierangelo Taurisano for the Cat (Technical Assistance Centre) , and Dr. Antonietta Saracino representing Anva (National Association of Trade in Public Areas).
