From Saturday regular traffic on the Brescia-Iseo-Edolo route

From Saturday 30 March on the Brescia-Iseo-Edolo line the service will finally return to regular service, as expected. Trenord announced this in a note which communicated the return of trains also on the section between Pisogne-Marone Zone, in addition to the strengthening of the service on Edolo.

The restoration work on the Pisogne-Marone Zone section, carried out by the infrastructure manager Ferrovienord following the road accident which occurred on 21 September, will end on Friday 29 March. This means that from the following day the trains will return to travel on the route, on which the service has been carried out by bus in recent months.

The interruption between Pisogne and Marone Zone had made it necessary to remodulate traffic on the line, with the activation of a replacement bus service also between Breno and Edolo, to facilitate the management of convoys. Obviously now this rubber shuttle will no longer be necessary.

With the restoration, the railway offer on Edolo will be strengthened: 11 trips on the Brescia-Iseo-Breno regional line will in fact extend the trip to the station, which will be reached by a total of 28 trips per day.
