There is also a man from Palagianello among the victims of the terrible road accident that occurred today in the Matera area.
This is the forty-eight year old Giuseppe Tamburrano: he was traveling with another man, a forty-six year old from Pulsano who also died, in a car which due to circumstances still being ascertained collided head-on with a heavy vehicle.
The impact occurred on provincial road 41 near the Mermec-Ferrosud Jesce plant.
The driver of the truck was injured: he was rescued and taken to hospital with no life-threatening injuries.
