Olbia. A new page opens for shuttle transport to the Isola Bianca Port of Olbia. Scia-Consorzio italiano autoservizi Srl of Sassari has been designated to manage the service free shuttle bus for the ship maritime station section and vice versa, for the next four years.
The decree awarding the second lot of the tender for passenger services has been signed, adding to that already awarded last December to the temporary grouping of companies SPS Srl and Fast Srl, both from Olbia. This first lot included the information point, baggage storage, assistance to passengers on boarding, disembarking and transit, as well as support for those with reduced mobility.
But the news doesn’t end here: within a few weeks the evaluation of the offers relating to the reception, reception, sorting and routing service of vehicles arriving and departing for the Olbia airports and, for the first time, also of Golfo Aranci will be completed .
The tender commission, before proceeding with the opening of the economic offers, decided to submit specific questions to the ANAC, thus extending the timing of the process. The entire package of services, put to tender in April 2023, amounts to approximately 13 million and 790 thousand euros.
The president of the Port System Authority of the Sea of Sardinia, Massimo Deiana: “Thanks to the latest clarifications provided by Anac, I am confident that we will also be able to quickly identify the operator who will manage the most substantial and complex package of the procedure, so that as early as late spring, passengers arriving and departing from the ports of Olbia and Golfo Aranci can count on a stable quality of services”.
