Plan measures in the prefecture to ensure greater safety in places with the highest aggregation

An intensification of surveillance and control activities in Grosseto by the Police Force, with the planning of services that will pay particular attention to places of greatest aggregation and sensitive objectives in the area.

This was decided today by the provincial committee for public order and security coordinated by the prefect, Paola Berardino, meeting to take stock of the situation on the measures to be activated after the attack in Moscow, in line with what was established at a national level by the Ministry of the Interior.

During the meeting, the activities that, since last March 4, have been made use of by the soldiers of the Safe Roads operations and which will also concern the road arteries, especially in the time slots and along the routes considered at greatest risk of congestion and accidents, were outlined. Finally, information and investigative activities will be strengthened to promptly intercept possible threats to public order.

«Those adopted», said Prefect Berardino «are precautionary measures, in line with the national and international context. No alarmism therefore, but only maximum alert for preventive purposes to avoid any possible “risk” situation”.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the municipality, province, the heads of the police forces and the members of the armed forces.
