Esposito and the leaders of Polfer, Road and Postal Police.

The technical table

The police commissioner of Padua, Marco Odorisio, brought together a technical table in which the leaders of all the police forces participated, from the Carabinieri to the leaders of the Police Headquarters, the Financial Police and the local police. During the summit the commissioner made it known that in addition to the fixed safeguards already in place, controls will be implemented in all those areas at risk of attacks. All this as a consequence of a foreseeable increase in the influx of faithful and visitors. Hundreds of law enforcement officers will take to the field over the Easter weekend. Among the forces in the field there will also be Digos agents who are responsible for IT control over social media, in order to intercept possible suspicious situations and special departments in the event of serious news incidents. Maximum attention will also be paid to the railway station and motorway toll booths in the province of Padua. The same goes for shopping centers and more generally in all those places with a high rate of visitors. These activities will involve the Polfer and the Traffic Police and all those who have the task of supervising the safety of things and people, assuming a surge in arrivals in the city and province for the holidays.
