After months of secrecy, the production of Superman moved outdoors in Cleveland, Ohio, in full view of paparazzi and fans. So last night a bunch of photos from the set of James Gunn’s film arrived online for the first time David Corenswet wearing the new superhero costume. Not only that: he was in fact present on the set Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, And of Gathegi in those of Michael Holt / Mister Terrific, and at a certain point too Nicholas Hoult, who will play the main villain Lex Luthor in the film, as well as Wendell Pierce as Perry White. We know little about the context of the scene shot, except that it should be a Metropolis full of debris.
On the Cleveland.com website you can see a bunch of pictures from yesterday’s shooting. On the costume front, it should be noted that Superman’s is decidedly lighter than the first official photo released a few weeks ago. Mister Terrific’s costume is white, black and red, and extremely faithful to the comics. In the images we see Lois Lane getting off a sort of spaceship together with Perry White, and she is wearing the classic purple dress, which many are already starting to connect with the look of the character in the iconic animated series.

We must highlight, for once, an overwhelming enthusiasm from fans on social media, which is very rare these days. We are in fact used to very heavy criticism, but these first images from the set have instead sparked a very positive reaction from the DC fandom, who are offering their support to James Gunn’s work one year after the release of the film.
