Just one week after his television debut with the new season of Temptation Island, a serious loss strikes the program host, Filippo Bisciglia, who has to say goodbye to a very loved person in his life. “The show must go on”, they always say, and indeed the program which sees him at the helm of a series of subterfuges, arguments and betrayals between couples will be broadcast regularly, this is because it is made in advance of being broadcast, like all programs by Maria De Filippi’s production company, Fascino. The death of Filippo Bisciglia’s centenarian grandmother
The well-known Canale 5 host has returned to the center of attention for reasons other than the previews regularly provided by the program’s social pages. In fact, the man was struck by a dramatic loss: the death of his grandmother Vilma. He was particularly fond of her. He himself made it known through his Instagram profile, sharing the tragic news in stories. In fact, you can see it a very recent photo of him smiling with his beautiful grandmotherand underneath a small dedication written for her: “Hello my love, have a safe trip. You have been my life and will continue to be in all my indelible memories that can never be erased”, Then he continues greeting her: “I will miss you a lot. We… who grew up with our grandparents… know”. And finally the emoji of a small heart. In the subsequent stories the host gradually goes back in time, first sharing a shot of him as a little more than a teenager in the summertime with Grandma Vilmathen one more shot of him very small at sea with her.
The host’s recent celebrations with his grandmother
The saddest thing is that just a few months ago, to be precise in mid-February, the presenter had introduced his beloved grandmother on social media to all the fans, on the occasion of her birthday, who had just recently become a hundred years old, really. The presenter wanted to pay homage to her by posting on his Instagram profile a carousel of photos and videos in which she appears next to her grandmother who, smiling, waves a glittery balloon with the number 100. The woman she was born on February 7, 1924, and had therefore recently reached this enormous milestone. To complete the post, Filippo then wrote: “+100 Grandma Vilma, I wished her a happy birthday on your behalf (his nephew’s ISTRAMBRAM followers)”.
