He climbed the Duomo at night, from the stairs to the terraces, up to the highest spiers. And up again, up to the Madonnina (here is the previous one). All – obviously – documented from the smartphone camera: the urban climber who goes by the name of himself on Instagram is back with one of his blitzes Dedelate (also known for having secretly climbed the Ariston Theater during the Sanremo days). The “face to face” shot with the most famous statue in Milan is unmistakable, and therefore at 108.5 meters high. The images were released on Thursday 23 May, but the date is not certainwhere the climb took place – the young man acted secretly and was not stopped or identified -: in the video there is no trace of the bad weather that has hit Milan in recent days and the climber is wearing a t-shirt. Checks are underway by the local police and the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo: the hypothesis is that it used the scaffolding mounted on the Cathedral for the restoration.
It is not the first time that Dedelate has been talked about in the news and on social media. Numerous posts of him in dangerous or extreme situations: in March it was the turn of a shot at the Castle, even before on the roofs of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. Very little is known about him, except that Milan is one of the favorite destinations for his exploits, which are announced like this: “We know places that you can’t even imagine.”
