Bray Wyatt and the tribute that came from the MMA world
The event took place on April 20th Cage Warriors 171 in Glasgow where, in the Main Event, Italian Dumitri Girlean faced the home idol, “The Bad Guy” Chris Bungard in the main event of the evening. While Dumitri had to face an audience completely against him, Bungard wanted to delighting his fans with a tribute to the late Windham Rotundataking on the role of the first gimmick of Bray Wyatt, aka the Eater of Worlds.
Immediately after Girlean’s entrance, the lights at Braehead Arena they went out. Bungard’s voice echoes, they sing Bray Wyatt’s iconic song, “He’s got the whole world in his hands”. From the screen, the Scotsman appears, in the same shirt and hat as Bray Wyatt, with his iconic lantern in hand, lit. As soon as he finishes singing, Bungard concludes: “Glasgow! We’re here!”, and then extinguished the lantern in his own way, with the same emphasis that Windham used.
