This week, Very true – The stories promises to be particularly interesting with the presence of two super exceptional guests. The first is Mahmood, the singer has released his new album titled “Nlda – In other people’s beds”. The artist, after participating as a big player in the competition at the 74th edition of the Sanremo Festival, where his song “Gold Suit“has conquered social media, stopped in Silvia Toffanin’s living room. Mahmood will talk about his musical journey, the emotions linked to the new album and will offer an unprecedented look at his private and sentimental life.
“In the album I talk about the bed because I believe the bed is our Linus blanket, it is the most intimate place where you choose to bring the real people you really love“he said during the interview.
The other guests
Alongside Mahmood, the program also saw the participation of two icons of Italian music: Iva Zanicchi and Orietta Berti. The two artists, loved by the public for their long and brilliant career, they shared touching and personal moments with Silvia Toffanin and the viewers. In particular, Iva Zanicchi will talk about the health conditions of her husband, Fausto Pinna, who was diagnosed with lung cancer. Despite the doctors’ advice, Pinna hmade significant progress, managing to make some progress thanks to his willpower. Zanicchi told about their life journey together, about the hope and courage that supported them in this difficult period: “she is doing much better, Pippi walked a little yesterday,” said Iva. “He smoked ninety cigarettes a day, but we didn’t expect it, he seemed fine, but after that terrible diagnosis they only gave him two months because it seemed like nothing more could be done. He tells me I’m staying here with you and for you, we have to go away together, I told him you go ahead then I’ll come, Iva played down the drama, then added: “He should have died 3 years ago, he overcame everything but now he’s broken a vertebra so his situation isn’t easy”. The artist then made an announcement that left Toffanin and all her fans stunned: “I decided to slow down. This summer I am suspending concerts to be close to my husband Fausto, my manager is in crisis but for my own personal reasons I don’t want to do concerts. I’ll do television.”
Orietta Berti, with her sympathy and charisma, will add a touch of lightness and joy to the episode, sharing funny anecdotes and reflections on his career. Additionally, there will be space to review the interview with as well Gianni Sperti, who will be accompanied in the studio by his sister Cinzia, who will tell about the toxic love story she experienced with her ex-partner. Finally, space for the interview with Patty Pravo, one of the most iconic singers of Italian music. “La Divina”, as her fans call her, told Silvia Toffanin various background stories about her private life, one in particular linked to her ex-partner Riccardo Fogli: “Riccardo didn’t leave Pooh because I wanted him to. In fact I would have liked him to stay with Pooh, which is a group I’ve always liked a lot. He probably wanted to be a soloist and decided to leave the group. Why did it end between us?
