Julia Louis-Dreyfus is involved in Thunderbolts where she once again plays Valentina Allegra de Fontaine and reveals what to expect from the next Marvel film.
Thunderbolts began filming the film some time ago, as initially testified by Florence Pugh. After a brief stint in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and appearing briefly in Black Widow, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine was more involved in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever specifying her bond with Agent Ross. Regarding the progress made so far by Thunderbolts, the actress confessed to the microphones of Variety that he had already finished production and, when asked if he had any action scenes in the film, he stated:
Yes I have finished. I don’t know if you know how it works in the Marvel universe, but when you become part of it it’s like you signed in blood. If I say anything too much right now, I will be punished by the universe.
That the Marvel universe appreciates silence is a fact. Often, films and TV series focus above all on the element of surprise which is difficult to protect if you consider how many actors are involved. Regarding Thunderbolts, the actress added a few detail more to the microphones of the New York Times, anticipating that for Marvel Studios this film will represent a sort of “return to the roots”:
It’s all very well organised. Very methodical. And I don’t mean that in a negative way. In particular in this film they are very focused, to be honest, on the human story. They’re trying to get back to their roots, so to speak. And so they are focusing a lot on this aspect. They’re trying to avoid CGI or whatever as much as possible, with real stunts. And in fact I had to do a couple of them too.
Some time ago, Julia Louis-Dreyfus had already confirmed her involvement in Thunderbolts to the microphones of Jimmy Kimmel Show. “I can say I’ll be in Thunderbolts. Yes, with good kids behaving badly or bad kids ending up behaving well. Mine is exactly on the border between good and evil. I think it’s a bit of both, it’s unclear to me”.
