The appointments continue with the Val Grande writer EC Bröwa, guest of L’Circul of Pessinetto and Al Cicapui of Groscavallo with “La strada nera” and “L’arancio”. These are two complementary novels, one which tells of nature and life in the woods, the other dedicated to people and life in the village.
This Friday, June 21st, in Pessinetto we will talk about “The black road”, the story of an accomplished professional who leaves everything to return to the valley where he was born. The protagonist’s story is fictional, but the entire outline of characters that populate memories of him is inspired by real people, who many in the audience will probably recognise.
The meetings are part of “The Fridays of L’Circul”, the well-established event that now boasts over a year of life, dedicated to various aspects of the culture of the area: music, traditions, videos, books and everything that deals with these lands. It is possible to combine the literary evening with a pre-event dinner by reservation at the tavern.

And the events will continue on June 29th at the Beppe Ferrando area in Migliere (Groscavallo), where it will be the turn of “The Tree”. The novel, which gives voice to the mountain forests by telling the life of a century-old beech tree, is presented to the public in a “night-time storytelling”, as part of the events organized by Al Cicapui for the conclusion of the Bottom Up 2022 project.
The two days will include, among others, a workshop with a shipwright, hay jumping tests and an “aperibosco” with typical products of the Valley, upon reservation. It is possible to stay in a tent between the 29th and the 30th in the Ferrando area.
