Here’s everything that will happen at Fiat in the next few years

Fiat, which has just shown the first images of the new Big Panda, in the coming years it will continue to be a protagonist of the car market with many innovations in the pipeline. First of all, on July 11th there will be the official presentation of the new Panda in which we will know prices, trims, range of engines and every other detail not yet leaked. We will also know when orders to purchase the new car will go out and when the first deliveries will be made.

Fiat: many new features coming in the next few years for the Turin-based company

In 2025 Fiat will continue to be a protagonist with the debut of another highly anticipated model that could be called new Multipla or new Panda Multipla. This vehicle should be unveiled in about a year. This car, like the Grande Panda, will be built on the Stellantis smart car platform and the chosen production site is the Stellantis plant in Morocco in Kenitra where the Topolino and its twin Citroen Ami are currently produced. This car will have many aesthetic similarities with the new Panda from which it will be distinguished by its greater size. In fact, this car should measure more or less 4.4 meters and therefore will be about 40 cm longer than the Grande Panda.

This will ensure the new Multipla greater capacity for both passengers and luggage. As for passengers, there should be 5- and 7-seater versions. The car, which will also have a lot in common with the recent Citroen C3 Aircross, will begin its deliveries between the end of next year and the beginning of 2026. Also in this case, as for the Panda, the value for money should be one of the strong points of the model which will try to build its own important market share by competing with some famous cars including those of Dacia.

Following in 2026 will be the turn of a new model of the Panda family currently nicknamed the new Fiat Fastback or Panda Fastback. It will be a coupé SUV with dimensions similar to those of the new Multipla but with a more aerodynamic and coupé-like style. It is not yet clear where this car will be produced. Certainly not in Italy, according to some it could be the model that will accompany the new Grande Panda in the Stellantis factory in Kragujevac in Serbia. This vehicle that will also be sold in South America will take the place of the current fastback.

Also in 2026, the hybrid version of the Fiat 500 should finally debut, which will also be produced in Mirafiori with the aim of significantly increasing the production of the factory which is experiencing a rather difficult moment. It will be the same 500e cwhich is produced there but to which the hybrid engine will be added.

Precisely the start of production of this model should take place between the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026. More or less in the same period, the famous version of the 500e, cheaper and with more autonomy, promised by the number one of Stellantis, should also arrive. CEO Carlos Tavares in recent days. For this car Stellantis has decided to invest further 100 million of Euro. In this way Mirafiori should be able to breathe again for at least a few more years.

In 2027 it will be the turn of a new pickup heir to the Fiat Strada which in addition to being sold in Latin America as currently happens, will also be sold in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This car will also be part of the new Panda family, sharing a whole series of design elements seen in the recent model. This is a very popular vehicle in South America and it is hoped that with the advent of the new generation it can become popular in our parts too. Apparently the project anticipated by a teaser in recent months promises well.

Finally, a new van called is expected to arrive between 2027 and 2028 Panda Camper which will in fact be designed above all for those looking for ideal solutions for outdoor life. With these models, therefore, the range of the main Italian car manufacturer will be completely revolutionized with the brand aiming to be a serious protagonist in Stellantis, confirming itself as the brand with the highest sales of all within the automotive group led by the CEO Carlos Tavares which makes no secret of its strong focus on the Italian brand to further expand its market shares globally in the near future.
