The summer season at Turin-Caselle airport has begun. The novelty lies in the introduction, between now and 10 July, of 8 new routes to and from the Piedmontese capital, operated by four airlines. This was announced by Sagat, the company that manages Turin Airport.

The Summer 2024 season began yesterday with the reactivation by Lumiwings of the connection to Foggia (flights on Mondays and Fridays).

Ryanair, however, is preparing to introduce three new features: flights to… Pescara (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday); starting tomorrow, June 2nd, the connection for Crotone (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday); from the day after tomorrow, June 3rd, the connection will be restored Corfu (Monday and Thursday).

Volotea is offering three historic destinations in Turin again: starting tomorrow, 2 June, flights to Alghero (Thursday and Sunday) and for Lampedusa (Sunday). They will be followed, from 5 July, by the restoration of the connection for Cagliari (Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday).

Finally, from July 10th, Turkish Airlines will start the daily connection to Istanbul, hub that leads to more than 340 destinations in the world.

Further news, which affects a fifth airline, will take effect tomorrow, 2 June: Ita Airways will intensify its daily flights to Rome Fiumicino, adding the fifth frequency.

Meanwhile, Turin Airport has achieved a new record: the month of May closed with traffic volumes of 400 thousand passengers for the first time. Even in the first five months of 2024, after an already record-breaking first quarter, an increase trend is therefore confirmed compared to 2023, which was the busiest year ever for Turin Airport.
