The automotive market in recent years has become more competitive than ever: People have less money to buy cars, so car manufacturers have to be convincing with their models and promise consumers the longest possible lifespan.
Sometimes brands copy each other a bit, especially if there are particularly useful features, and it seems that the same thing happened between Fiat and Porsche, with the former copying the latter.
The model from the Italian car manufacturer is much more accessible in terms of price, but is very reminiscent of its higher-end German cousins. Could it be an attempt to replicate Porsche’s unmistakable lines?

Fiat copies Porsche
There has been much talk, for many years, about a possible “rip off” of Porsche by Fiat: we are talking about the 8V model, a sedan that was produced in the 1950s. Lately this model has been rediscovered and many have begun to point out that the lines of the car are very reminiscent of the unmistakable ones of the Porsche. And so some fans of the German car manufacturer began to accuse Fiat of copying the cars of their favorite brand.
In reality, although you might remember it, the V8 was never an attempt to emulate Porsche cars. Some similarities can be noticed, so it is difficult to convince many otherwise, but after all, if we pay attention, even today many models resemble each other. This is because, rightly, car manufacturers try to satisfy the tastes of consumers who evolve and often follow the same direction. Both car lines are unique and loved for different reasons, so there’s no reason to “go to war with each other.”
