So among other things Lucilla Sergiacomo he notes in the Preface to the volume: «If Goffredo Palmerini had lived in the times of ancient Rome we could trace him among the number of the Pontifici Maximi, the magistrates who recorded in the The most important annals the most relevant political, military and social events that occurred in the past year […]. As a true chronicler, Palmerini also gives us numerous and varied chronicles, starting from the facts destined to go down in history, such as the participation of Pope Francis in the rite of Forgiveness […].»

He finally writes Pierfranco Bruni in his Presentation: «[…] An excellent work that is permeated with memories. The meaning remains linked to each contribution. Each chapter is a horizon of meaning. With the kindness that characterizes him, the notes are sentences of existence that are engraved on him and on our path. It is from here that a corpus of history and stories takes shape. Goffredo Palmerini is a writer who is reflected in journalism. A journalism made of “things” in a phenomenological act that resists any duration.»
