In 2022, the Solferino publishing house publishes a book entitled «Volodymyr Zelensky – In the mind of a hero» by Régis Genté and Stéphane Siohan. In 2024, a photo of a supposed “new edition” appeared with a different title: “Volodymyr Zelensky – Inside the mind of a hero under the influence of heroin.” This is an altered image that spreads false news.

The fake cover appears to have been published by an account called “AntiDictatura Salute-Ambiente” with the following description:
The first edition of this book was called ‘Volodymyr Zelensky in the mind of a hero’. This is the new edition, which has a more appropriate title: ‘VZ in the mind of a hero under the influence of heroin’
There is no “new edition”
The cover of the book published in 2022 bears the following title: «Volodymyr Zelensky – In the mind of a hero». This is still the case today on the official website of the Solferino publishing house, where no publication of a “new edition” is reported.
Compared to the image shared on social media with the altered text, the logo is missing from the official website Corriere della Sera lower left. This element might lead one to think that it is a “second “new edition” with the addition of the newspaper’s brand, but this is not the case.
Contacted by telephone, the Solferino publishing house denies the narrative of the “new edition”, just as it defines the cover circulating online with the text “under the influence of heroin” as false. Regarding the presence of the logo Corriere della Serathe explanation is very simple: two versions were printed, one for newsstands (with the newspaper logo) and one for bookstores (without).
The cover altered
The alteration of the cover is quite evident, observing the incorrect alignment of the text underneath the surname of the Ukrainian President.
Conclusions
There is no new edition of the book «Volodymyr Zelensky – In the mind of a hero». This is a photomontage.
