Leggo’s initiatives for Legittima Difesa continue, the project of the Municipality of Terricciola dedicated to Books and Reading, created in co-planning with Pensieri di Bo’ and with the participation of the Regional Council of Tuscany.
Friday 7 June “La Strada dei Libri”, an event now in its fourth edition, will liven up the Public Gardens of via Roma in Terricciola with shows, workshops and many books.
From 5.00 pm the event will open with the “Books and Dintorni” Market where the Bookshops and Publishing Houses Partners of the project will display the latest proposals from the world of publishing and fiction for children and young people.
Also at 5.00 pm, the students of the Terricciola Primary School of the IC “Sandro Pertini” of Capannoli will have the opportunity to perform with their Saggio Spettacolo “#InnamoratiDelteatro” to return the theatrical journeys created in class with the artists of the Teatro di Bo ‘.
Following will be Peter Pan’s turn with “Pane e Novella”, theatrical readings of fables and fairy tales with a snack offered to all participants.
At 6.00 pm the essay show “C’era una Svolta” will be staged with the little actresses of the Bo’ Maria Banchellini Theater Workshops, Adele Leoncini, Anita Perini and Giorgia Puccini who will tell us their version of the tale of Little Red Riding Hood.
At 6.30 pm it will be time to take pencils and colors for the Comics Laboratory with the illustrator and cartoonist Chiara Macchi, while, at the same time, the Book Camp of “La Tribù che legge” will be inaugurated with a Creative Laboratory, a space that will allow boys and girls to find everything they need to spend a summer of imagination and reading in the open air. Those attending the inauguration are invited to bring books, pillows and blankets to donate to the camp.
The evening will close at 7.30pm.
The initiative and all activities are free.
