It’s at least 210 dead and over 400 injured the balance of the operation, conducted by Israeli forces in the central part of the Gaza Strip which led to the release of 4 hostages. This was reported by the enclave government authorities. The operation by Israeli security forces was conducted in the areas of Nuseirat, Deir al-Balah and al-Zawaideh. The victims, dead and wounded, reports CNN, are transported to two hospitals in Gaza, Al-Awda in Nuseirat and Martyrs of Al-Aqsa in Deir al-Balah. CNN reports.
Haniyeh: “Israel cannot impose its choices on Hamas”
Israel cannot impose its choices on Hamas, which will not accept a deal without security for the Palestinians, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said. According to Al Jazeera, Haniyeh said that Israeli forces continue “the massacres of our people” and even after the UN blacklisted Israel for violating children’s rights, the world is still “incapable of put an end to a war of extermination to which our people are subjected.”
Abbas: “We call for an emergency meeting of the UN Council”
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, reports the Palestinian news agency Wafa, wants an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council to discuss the “bloody massacre carried out by Israeli forces”, the operation which allowed the rescue of 4 hostages in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central part of the Gaza Strip.
