Amadeus has officially joined the faces of New onessigning a contratto con Warner Bros. Discovery, after the last Sanremo Festival hosted on Rai 1. Laura Carafoli, responsible for content and production for Italy and Spain, tells how she convinced the presenter, the news of a musical program coming soon and then the hosting of Amadeus della Race. Amadeus lands on Nove with I Soliti Ignoti
It will be called Identity the new version of Soliti Ignoti That Amadeus prepares to bring up New ones in the fall, after signing a contract with Warner Bros. Discovery, leaving Rai. While the host receives some unexpected digs, Laura Carafoli, responsible for content and production for Italy and Spain of the network, talks about how he convinced Amadeus to sign with them after the last Sanremo Festival, thanks to a “compelling story with at least a four-year perspective”, with the prospect of opening up to streaming channels in the future and, above all, giving them carte blanche to create new projects. Carafoli explains:
“Amadeus always brings novelties to the formats he takes on. And then his arrival is a revolution, but we have to propose programs that people know. Our network must have reassuring foundations without losing its sincere and loyal DNA. […] First we start with the security of well-structured programs, in the meantime we will think of something new: for example it would be a shame not to take advantage of Amadeus’ great knowledge and sensitivity for music. The new program will be dedicated to music”.
Amadeus at the helm of a musical program
In short Amadeus warms up the engines with two formats already tested, introducing its innovations as always, but the real news is that it is preparing to conduct a music program which will not, however, be a sort of talent show like X Factor, as Laura Carafoli assures. But what format could it possibly be? The network already has a musical quiz hosted by Gabriele Corsi, which is recording excellent ratings, so much so that it is worth a Telegatto to the Roman host. The mystery is still thick, what is certain is that the public has already made it clear that it will follow Amadeus also on the new network and could thus create the same effect as Fabio Fazio’s arrival with Che Tempo che Fa on Novewhich this year recorded share peaks of 10%, a really good result for a debut.
