A decision well received by the public, who rewarded the professionalism and synergy of the two and of the entire staff with favorable acclaim, but due to a series of less than ‘strategic’ choices in the programming, Canale 5 excels.
Hence the need for change, but it is certainly not a problem relating to the conductors, on the contrary. The leaders were thinking of a different assembly line, which would have linked the information to One morning creating a continuity that could have brought together a greater number of viewers. Apparently, however, this will not happen. Let’s go into detail to understand what happened and why the company decided to leave everything as it was before.
One morningstop for Ossini and Ferolla: Rai’s latest decision is final
Unfortunately what happened a couple of years ago with the issue of the Cdr of Tg1 and Fiorello happened. There was a statement from the Tg1 editorial committee, which removed Fiorello from the first network. The Sicilian host then moved to Rai 2, enjoying enormous success with Long live Rai 2which from September will be replaced with another proposal. Rai’s idea for the next season was to propose again One morning with Daniela Ferolla and Massimiliano Ossini as in the first editions, and as it had been a success for decades, except after the interruption of the last two years due to the world conflict and the drop in TV ratings. A close collaboration between Tg1 and Rai 1, in order to put together a program which, with its pace, news and modern elements of our times, could compete with First page of Canale 5 news, leader in the share race.
The objective was to start a purely informative morning Tg1 at 6, thus gaining half an hour compared to the usual time. One morning therefore it would start at 7.10am, immediately after the 7am edition of Tg1. The container would then continue until 9.50am, when it begins Italian stories. However, the famous editorial committee of Tg1 opposed it, so nothing to be done. The company has decided to put more effort into the new program of the second network. In this way, Rai 1 was somehow stopped, already penalized by the decision of the previous Cdr which excluded Fiorello. The opportunity to relaunch Rai 1 was therefore lost once again and no extension for the version of the program hosted by the couple Ossini-Ferolla.
