Filming of new episodes of Stranger Things are currently underway in Atlanta, and in recent weeks the cast of the show has barely contained their excitement over the turn that events are about to take for what will be the fifth and final season of the series.
As it should be, there is complete secrecy regarding the plot on the set. However, in the last few hours it has been exactly that Jamie Campbell Boweraimed in the series by Henry Creel alias Vecna, to unbutton and anticipate some details on the emotional scope of the new episodes. During his latest participation in the iHeart podcast, the actor defined the final season of Stranger Things as something “completely crazy“:
«If you thought last season was crazy, I assure you that season five will simply be out of control, wild and crazy. It really will be. And everything will be bigger. It will be completely crazyreally crazy.»
The actor then explains how theathral show Of Stranger Things staged in London offered great ideas for the characterization of his character in view of the final season:
«It’s just about continually building the story. The production of the play in London, which I went to see, which dates back to Henry’s story before the fourth season, was also very interesting. This allowed me to find the answers to a lot of questions and thoughts I had about that character, and it also gave me the chance to discover a lot more. It was really interesting to me»
Bower’s words seem to confirm what has been said in recent months. The new episodes will see an important time leap forward compared to the last episodes of the previous fourth season and the young protagonists will find themselves involved in a real open war against the forces coming from the frightening kingdom of the Upside Down.
