Thanks to the new details on a highly anticipated duel in One Piece, we know that Zoro will be the protagonist of yet another exciting chapter created by that genius Eiichiro Oda. Yet, the swordsman of Luffy’s crew still has to improve to rival some opponents who are currently almost impossible for him to beat.
First of all, Marshall D. Teach, owner of one of the strongest Rogia in One Piece as well as Whitebeard’s Tremor-Tremor Fruit, is currently one of the most dangerous pirates of the work ever. The ability to create black holes and trigger real earthquakes represent an obstacle for anyone, even Zoro.
Even the Grand Admiral Akainu he would be a truly difficult enemy for Zoro, since the navy member’s magmatic attacks are difficult to dodge or otherwise manage. Furthermore, many are expecting a decisive clash between Luffy and Akainu, probably on equal terms, so it cannot be ruled out that Zoro could, in the short term, match his power.
On the swordsmen side, there is a warrior that the fan base has known since the dawn of One Piece and to whom all of Luffy’s crew is grateful: Shanks the Red. The Sea Emperor is among the most powerful characters in One Piece and it cannot be ruled out that he will be forced to face the Mugiwara in the future. At that point, we expect that only Luffy will be able to stand up to him.
Finally, we would also like to point out characters such as Rayleigh And Rob Lucci for very different reasons: the first is endowed with immense wisdom, has experience, enormous knowledge and has long since mastered the Haki of the Conquering King; the second concretely demonstrated in a fight with Zoro on Egghead that he did not succumb to his blows and remained standing until the end, without ever allowing himself to be defeated.
Zoro still has to grow as a fighter if he aspires to become the best swordsman in the worldbut we’re sure that Oda has big things planned for him, so we’ll just have to wait to find out.
