Hells Kitchen is a television program that has made the history of culinary formats. The absolute protagonist of this show is Antonino Cannavacciuolo. This is a starred chef who made his fortune thanks to the business he set up alone, together with his precious manager, his wife.
Antonino Cannavacciuolo is in fact an expert chef. In many interviews he has in fact thanked his wife for supporting him during his journey. Not only that: Cannavacciuolo was often grateful to the people of Naples for what it gave him: support, approval, success.
One of his most iconic phrases is the following: “This was about to become a nightmare, but we made it. Goodbye.” Nonetheless, Cannavacciuolo has always loved more elegant forms of expression, the ones he uses above all when he has to face his competitors MasterChef.
In any case, Cannavacciuolo’s creativity is such that he is loved by all of Italy. His practical, attentive but elegant way of doing things is his trademark. Furthermore, right in Nightmare Kitchens, he is known for his vigorous pats on the back. But what happened in the last episode?
The offending episode
Unfortunately, during the last episode of Hells Kitchen, something unexpected happened. As usual, Antonino was preparing to taste the dishes on the restaurant menu. At first, Cannavacciuolo had to wait. Next, the dish arrived.
The moment the dish was tasted, however, Cannavacciuolo immediately expressed his disappointment. The dish was simply inedible, acid and fermented. What struck the chef most was the excessive use of lemon, which soured everything.
The criticism
At this point, Cannavacciuolo asked the waitress to taste the dish. When she did it, she herself realized something was wrong. In fact, according to her too the penne was inedible. So, what had happened?
“I believe that some places should not exist, it is an insult to Italian cuisine” is the merciless comment that one of the users left under the official Cucine da Incubo page. Luckily, Cannavacciuolo also resolved the situation at the restaurant in question.
