Cortellesi record, 30 talents win Ribbons for C’è Ancora Domani – Breaking News

The photograph of the winners for C’è Ancora Domani by Paola Cortellesi emerges from the margins: thirty people, an absolute record and in the group shot you have to squeeze into two rows, standing and crouching to enter, like a class of students. Thus at the Nastri d’Argento, awarded by the film journalists’ union, Cortellesi’s directorial debut was released yesterday evening by the Maxxi in Rome where the awards ceremony took place, with an incredible load that adds to the other awards for which There’s Still Tomorrow marked the film season, triggered the return to theaters by grossing the unattainable figure of almost 37 million euros, sparked the debate on women’s rights and domestic violence, causing a shock wave which especially struck the younger audience who crowded the dozens of screenings in which the story of Delia, a harassed wife in the poor post-war period in Rome, sparked the debate.

It is the ‘Film of the Year’ and celebrates its exceptional success with the Nastri d’Argento for all artistic and technical categories. It has won exceptionally in all artistic and technical categories: the Nastri went to the screenwriters, with Cortellesi, Furio Andreotti and Giulia Calenda, and to the extraordinary cast of protagonists, Valerio Mastandrea, Romana Maggiora Vergano, Emanuela Fanelli, Giorgio Colangeli and Vinicio Marchioni, who also receives the Persol Award ‘Personage of the Year’. For a special ‘collective’ appreciation Nastri also to the artistic and technical team of the highest quality of a film that has won over the public, marking a sensational turning point also in the return of spectators to the theater. Nastri therefore to the production Wildside, a company of the Fremantle group, and Vision Distribution, a company of the Sky group, in collaboration with Sky and Netflix.

The Nastri d’Argento also went to the entire talented team that worked towards a great collective result: Davide Leone for photography, Valentina Mariani for editing, Lele Marchitelli author of the original music, Paola Comencini for the scenography, Alberto Moretti for the costumes, Filippo Porcari and Federica Ripani for the live sound and casting directors Laura Muccino and Sara Casani. Cast awards also went to Francesco Centorame (among the ‘Biraghi’ of the year), Lele Vannoli, Paola Tiziana Cruciani, Yonv Joseph and Alessia Barela. And three special awards, even though they are not categories foreseen in the Nastri d’Argento regulations, also went to the decorator Fiorella Cicolini, the make-up artist Ermanno Spera, and the hairstylist Teresa Di Serio.
