The new episode of Chain reactionconducted by Pino Insegno on Rai1 Friday 7 June 2024see i Chiuchiarelli (Davide, Chiara and mother Rita), undisputed champions of the last few days, clash with the High Voltage (friends Rosa, Fabio and Laura), leaving him the place in the final chain, after a rather disappointing performance at the winning Intesa. But let’s see together what happened during the episode and how users reacted on social media.
Chain Reaction, episode of June 7, 2024: what happened
The match saw Chiuchiarelli clearly ahead of Alto Voltaggio for almost the entire episode, even though the latter demonstrated their ability in particular with the chains present in the various heats of the program, including the musical one. It’s a shame that they often got lost at the last step and the hand passed to their opponents, but this didn’t happen during the course of the game.Winning agreement, perhaps the most awaited “phase” of the program by the public. Last night, in fact, the Chiuchiarellis weren’t in great shape, so much so that they only managed to guess 6 words (and to think that a few days ago they had brought home as many as 15). It is also true, however, that they had 5 seconds less than their opponents because they had missed the last Zot. In any case, it was a blow for everyone, especially for the family itself, to see them leave at the last second, when the antagonists reached 7 words thanks to the term “contract”, despite Rosa and Laura only having two seconds to make his friend Fabio understand the right word.
The time has come final chain (with a prize pool of 117 thousand euros), the three friends got the answer wrong several times and used both wildcards available only to end up with only 3,657 euros after buying the third element. What word does “party” and “public” have in common? The authors disclosed only two initial letters and one final one (Pe – o). Rosa immediately shouted: “Character!“, and in fact the term was exactly the correct one and the trio took home just over 3 thousand euros between hugs, euphoria and compliments from the host.
The controversies on social media
There was no shortage of them last night either controversy on social mediamostly on X (formerly Twitter) and related to too much ease of the last chain: “Chain reaction chains so easy that if there wasn’t a winning agreement I’d be there winning money like in video games“, or: “Elementary chain and they won 3 thousand euros…“. It’s still: “You have won 3600 euros… Stay calm“, “Either character or path… as usual, there are no clear answers“, “Chain of unique simplicity… Jokers used on embarrassing combinations. Meh…“.
