It was found this morning in Milan’s Central Station the sixteen-year-old who disappeared last year March 21st from Colico (Lecco). The boy was buying a ticket to go home. This was recognized by a couple of travellers, who immediately notified FS Security staff who, in turn, requested the intervention of the Railway Police. The police reported it.

“I thank the police and all the people who helped us during this terrible week”, were the first words of the young man’s father. The parent spoke briefly to journalists while he and his wife, the boy’s mother, were entering the station’s police station where the officers took the 16-year-old after he was found.

“It’s the end of a nightmare,” the 16-year-old’s grandfather told Mattino Cinque. “It’s the end of a nightmare, of a series of worries. We are very happy that everything ended in the best way. I can’t wait to hug him and resume that dialogue that was interrupted for eight days” he added. Now “we will try to understand the reasons for the gesture and we will help him to resume his activity as a student and to reintegrate into the school in which he was happy, he did well”. “As we have always done, we will be patient and attentive grandparents to his development as a man. I feel happy. I am very happy, I am waiting for him. I can’t wait to hug him” he concluded.
